All educational materials are currently free and accessible online through your member account in the “My Coach Account” section. However, Safe Sport will begin charging a fee for their training beginning in January 2018. Even if you aren’t planning to renew your membership right now, we recommend going ahead and completing the Safe Sport training. Save the certificate you receive at the end of the training program, so you will have it when you do renew your membership. Please let me know if you have any questions about the new requirements or training. Thank you for all you do to help the sport of ultimate continue to grow and develop! Best, Dan Raabe Manager – Youth and Education Programs dan@hq.usaultimate.org IYU is excited to announce that CHSUL 2018 will be played on Wednesday nights in April and May at the Stuart Sports Complex in Montgomery (Griffin Drive and US 30, Just South of the Orchard Road Exit off of I-88). "The Chicago Wildfire are pleased to announce their own series of ultimate youth clinics for the 2017 season. Two hours before every Wildfire home game, Lane Tech Stadium will be open to kids of all ages to come and learn from the best Chicago ultimate has to offer. Lane Tech Head Coach Rob Berg, as well as players from the Chicago Wildfire, will be offering instruction that ranges from throwing fundamentals to what it takes to be a great teammate."
If you would like more information, you can find it on their website at: http://chicago-wildfire.com/2017/04/28/wildfire-to-have-youth-clinic-series-at-all-home-games/ An important update for the tournament: We are moving the location of the fields to Stuart Sports Complex in Montgomery, Illinois (Same location as Neuqua Knockout). It will be the same dates and price, and it will hopefully provide a safer and more fulfilling tournament. We will be running this concurrently with BICI, a club tournament, so, during byes teams can watch club teams play. This is going to be a great opportunity to have much better fields and a larger event as a whole.
If you have not signed up for the tournament please fill out this form. We currently have 46 teams signed up, and I am hoping to get more. You can refer our tournament page on the IYU website to get all information, including current teams that have registered. Also, a reminder that payment of $275 is due by May 1st, or $300 thereafter. If the change in venue makes the timing of your payment more difficult, then please communicate with me about your situation. I am happy to work with everyone to accommodate each of your needs to the best of my ability. You can make payments via our website, or a mailed check, with invoice (make sure to include school name on invoice or check), to: Illinois Youth Ultimate P.O.
